camshaft seal and pulley aux drive replacement

So guys, just want to share what I did recently on my LR2 2008 HSE i6: replace camshaft seal and pulley aux drive after 256,000 kms. Actually it's too late because the engine oil leakage already happened since long but I ignore it until the noise from this pully aux drive comes.

part you need
1. LR004305 or LR005993 which is pulley aux drive, alternatively since it's volvo engine you can also buy Volvo part (Volvo 31316803)

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-dri...n-31316803

2. Seal for camshaft
again I use Volvo part 30711317 and order here

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-cra...ing-875480

To make it short, I will not tell the story from removing airfilter box, battery and tray, AC bracket, etc. The guidelines is available in manual and the video reference is available from youtube

Just to add my point here

1. If you remove AC bracket only and put it back you do not need to buy special alignment tool
2. If you buy https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-cra...ing-875480 it will come with plastic part in the middle that help to protect the camshaft metal when inserting the seal so again, no need to buy expensive special tool, just carefully put oil, push inside with normal tool
