so my lovely sd4 engine has decided to terminate ones self.... i cant complain she did me 320k miles!!

its a 2011 sd4 reg is k90hwk.
my question is sd4 224dt , can i purchase any 2011 engine ?

as i understand it the td4 engine is the same its just auto and remap for the sd4 .
but is the auto and manual the same engine ? can i purchase a manual and swap it out with my old auto gearbox?

I'm sure someone with greater knowledge than me will be along soon,
But I do know the SD is not just a remap, turbo is different and there are subtle changes to the engine
and the managment system, Dam good milage though  DAVE.

thanks dave. shes had tyres ,2 wheel bearing ,drop links ,breaks and discs in her life , one cant complain!!
hopefully some one can guide me to what engine i can grab for her.
