Other options are Autotrader, Ebay, Cargurus, or on here, depends if you wan't a quick sale or not? WBAC will give you the absolute minimum. 2013 FL2 XS.

We recently disposed of a nice little 19 plate Suzuki Swift through the trade , after a week of time wasters and chancers from our Autotrader advert . The best price we got was by booking an appointment with Arnold Clarke . They were a full £1000 better than WBAC estimate , £500 better than the Motorway estimate . They looked over the car , took about 20 minutes and made an offer around £400 less than we thought it would go for privately . I decided to take the trade route after we had a kid drive the 38,000 mile car , serviced by the Suzuki Mechanic we know personally since new , then whatsapped his dad who listened to the engine and declared there was an issue with the top end and tried to lowball us . At that point we said thanks , best you go look elsewhere and sent him on his way . Then the people who didn’t turn up , the ones saying you’ll take £xxx won’t you , and half a dozen traders telling us the market was bad … yes of course it was . Once the trade has the car , your problems are over , no comebacks , no phone calls 2 weeks later . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Many thanks for sharing and the info. Never gave a thought regarding copying number plates as they are on public display 24/7 anyway, but will definitely take your advice. Cheers. Jeff |

If you go back to the post you may still be able to use the 'edit' function to change whatever you wish, not sure how long after posting that is available. Failing that a moderator can be requested to delete it. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
