It's unusual for the exhaust to fall apart, as it's made of stainless steel.

Yes, it’s a clean break on the pipe! |

The Repair Manual has an exploded view and description starting page 1525, names of parts but no part numbers.

Dread to think of the price for a genuine exhaust from Landrover. Priced a genuine VW system for a Tdi Golf maybe 15 years ago and it was £1200 back then. Bought a full stainless system from Scorpion at £400. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Perfect. I hope to do a weld repair on the pipe. |

I'd just weld it up, then try to identify if it is being stressed when hung, as it should just hang freely and evenly on the rubbers. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. On close inspection, the bracket on the exhaust pipe from the DPF has broken putting strain on the welded outlet from the DPF. What is the best way to remove this? The nuts/ bolts from cat to DPF are corroded. Is it normally welded studs and nuts or welded nuts and bolts on this flange? It looks a real to split at this joint! |
