Hi all. My Metropolis has the tyre pressure monitoring system but did not have a full size spare. I have now acquired a full size spare but it has a standard valve. Is it just a matter of having the TPMS sensor fitted to the wheel and the TPMS system will then "see" the sensor and report back accordingly?

I have re-read my original post and the clue is that it was a genuine LR pre-programmed TPMS Valve.

I bought a secondhand set of Evoque alloys for my 2014 se tech. They did not have TPMS fitted so I bought from eBay a genuine set of sensors for about £70 and had them fitted at a local tyre depot. The car recognised them straight away and I never had a problem with them. |
