PTU replacement

How big a job is it to replace the PTU on a sd4 auto, mine is making a noise. Got the use of a 2 post lift to do the job.
Thanks
Dilwyn

Bell Engineering had mine off and on in half a day.

No special JLR tools needed.

AFAIK all the info is in the free JLR workshop manual downloadable from this site- home>general Jules

Depends on how long it takes for you to remove the sleeve coupling between ptu and gearbox. It might also be the case that you do not have to replace the sleeve but i doubt it. Did mine in 8 hours, 4 of thoae were figuring out how to remove the sleeve. Apart from that, not that hard.
