Sorry for the long delay, just managed to get the roof rails fitted over the last few days, prepared all the mounting points yesterday and bolted the rails on today with the cross bar fitted loosely first as recommended. The quality of the kit is ok, it all lines up after a fashion, the only issue for me is one of the mid section mounting bolt sheared off, it seemed to long and fouled the body underneath so now i have to take it off again and drill the bolt out

I had the M6 bolt shear off, a 1000 km from any form of civilisation... Twice... but was prepared the second time.

I put in a temporary M10 bolt & cut a larger gap in the rail foot.

I think now the roof rack structure, I have fixed all the design failures. Bolts (many), structural internal 5083 alloy beam, external strengthening, PTFE improvements, replacing self tappers. Are pretty good.

Put a bit of PTFE tape around the M6 bolts to minimise stainless & steel body issues. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Managed to get genuine rails for panoramic roof (which i have) off ebay for £89
Anyway luckily had genuine LR instructions with it so eventually got it fitted.
One issue i had was the receiver bolts that you bolt to (4 rear ones) were knackered on my car as the 6mm bolts to bolt rails down would not fit. Anyway, local LR got me 4 replacements for £6 which worked out perfect
Now very happy.
