I had the M6 bolt shear off, a 1000 km from any form of civilisation... Twice... but was prepared the second time.

Seems you have to be prepared for regular repairs of these rails. Plan A is to drill out and recut the M6 thread. Plan B drill out and insert a rivnut. Hopefully one of the above will work! |

Managed to get genuine rails for panoramic roof (which i have) off ebay for £89 |
