25 miles from Aberysthwith - around 29 miles is you include the off road journey to get to the nearest tarmac!
Couldn’t take my new Freelander (boo!!!), had to go in the “spare” LR for the extra space required for all of the pointless c**p that families need to take on holiday 🙄
Four miles of forest tracks and two streams to cross (4-5” rivers in really bad weather!)

If you carry on walking for another 30 minutes to the far end the our valley, you can see the nearest neigbours on the far side of the next valley!

To those I’ve recommended this to, it’s SERIOUSLY remote.
It takes 40 minutes to get to the nearest shop, even longer of you don’t fancy the short cut down the side of the valley - not great for vertigo sufferers!
The river to cross is an easy ford, unless you get hit with a lot of heavy rain, when you may be stranded for a few days - no matter what you’re driving!

It really does look amazing but think I would have to watch the river crossing as I drive a Tiguan 4motion these days.... same Haldex set up as a FL2/Ewok/DS but really not sure Id like to trust it as much as I would trust any LR.
