United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

The engines are essentially the same, it's some of the ancillaries that are different. There are some differences between TD4 and SD4, namely an extra coolant tapping in the SD4, for the turbo IIRC. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The replacement for the SE.
2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Almost sold.
2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone.

Introduced for the 2011 model year, along with the first facelift. However, there was a very brief period before then that a stop start car was sold with an “e” suffix, denoting stop start on pre facelidt cars Rolling Eyes

Not to be confused with the “e” prefixed “eD4’s”, with FWD only 🤷‍♂️

The TD4_e with Stop-Start was announced at the Paris Motor Show in Oct 2008.
The first volume production vehicle was built on 16th Mar 2009.
This Stop-Start feature, together with low rolling resistance tyres and engine management software updates, was claimed to increase the fuel consumption by 20%.

The 2 Wheel Drive (Shock-Horror) eD4 was introduced for MY11, but all Manual Gearbox models were now Stop-Start. (the TD4-e was dropped)
Note other changes to Engine/Ancillaries were made changing power output and the ability to run on B10 Diesel.

My info source is the excellent book Land Rover Freelander - The Complete Story.

FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)

(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)
