It's so easy with the right tools when you know how. I take it's the rubber pipe from the pump to the metal wibbly wobbly pipe.

The rubber collar below the joint actually has the removal tool built in. The pipes are held together by a C clip, which the tool engages with and opens as a result. The way I do it is to place an open ended spanner just larger than the metal pipe below the rubber collar, then hit it from below with a small hammer. This will force the metal release tool of the collar into the C clip, which will force it upwards and free from the metal pipe. This is assuming that it's not all rusted up, which unfortunately does happen. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate on order. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. |
