United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Santorini Black
Rear reflector

I noticed last night that the rear reflector on the passenger side has fallen off.

If anyone else has this issue the part number is LR0063489 for left hand side and LR006348 for right hand side.

Rimmer Bros also do an aftermarket pair part number LR0063489PR. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

I lost the right one a couple of years ago, & I know roughly where it fell off the car. I bought left & right, just in case.

When I pushed in the new right reflector, it was pretty firm fit & locked in place. Was a bit surprised that the original one fell out.

Still have a left spare just in case. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Witter towbars required the LH rear reflector be temporarily removed so a hole could be drilled in the bumper through which a bolt was inserted to hold the towbar.

Is there a round hole behind where the reflector had been ? Jules

It has a standard removeable tow hook, I can not see a hole that might have been created to fit this. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

It was just a thought. AFAIK it was only Witters that fitted their towbars this way. I have one.
Ive never seen a FL2 with missing a reflector.
Maybe somebody stole it. Jules

For the LR tow bar, the bumper, towing eye and cross beam needs removing to fit it.
It's likely that someone stole the reflector, or someone just nudged the bumper in the right place, causing the reflector to fall out? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

I noticed cleaning my LR2, that the clip was broken on the reflector above the rear tow hook was broken but it hadn't fallen out yet. I ended up drilling it and installing a very short tiny self tapping screw. The reason I went down this path, the cost of one reflector was INSANE!
