LR039527 - LOWER ENGINE MOUNTING , has anyone fitted one?

would I be correct in assuming this is a pretty straight forward task? Any obvious difficulties experienced ?

Mine is a worn mount which has the effect of allowing the engine to move therefore pushing forward the A/C compressor pulley into the intercooler pipe and rubbing a hole in it.

Never done it but like you say it should be straight foreword with a jack supporting the weight of the engine.

Very straightforward for me. It was all done in 20 minutes, which included removing the sump guard. There's no need to support the engine, as the lower mounting is for lateral support only, it's not carrying the weight of the power unit. Don't buy cheap though, only use LR bagged replacements.

Be warned that the nut you can see through the wheel arch is welded in place. The bolt is removed from the engine side of the mounting. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Done mine just a couple of weeks ago, had a 3 foot breaker bar on the two bolts holding it to the frame, it did just that...... snapped the b*****erds lol, M12 100mm is what you'll need if you don't get yours out. Also I found out the VOLVO engine mounting IS identical and a fraction of the price.

The Freelander was designed by Ford on a shared “platform” that was also used by Volvo. If you look around much of the internals you’ll find both FOMOCO and Volvo alongside Land Rover.

I had that issue with the upper support, including the rear bolt that is only supposed to be 10nm. A spray of RP90 and leaving it overnight made short work of them.
