[For Sale] Facelift Xenon headlights rewired for prefacelift

Off my written off 2010 prefacelift. I rewired these internally to be plug and play. Has a relay and split charge block to have the indicators alternate with the drls when flashing. The drls only come on when the engine is running and dipped beam is off. The signature strip stays on all the time as sidelights.

One has a scuff on lens that will polish out. The other has a broken tab but held fine in the 3 years i run them. If your prefacelift has xenon as standard it will be plug and play. If not you will need a indy to activate the xenon function.

Il give the buyer an idea of how I run and wired the extra loom, but understand I am selling very cheap as I do not want endless follow up questions. Tested working on removal. Collection from Benfleet essex. No post. £200

Thread does not add anything to this for me. As I said these were rewired internally to work on a prefacelift. If new owner wants to further modify then thats up to them.

ad says xenon but they are not bi-xenon on the facelift (2013> ) headlights, they are single bulb unit with a shutter for low/high beam.

Sorry to confuse but the facelift headlights could either be bixenon HID headlights or Halogen units with HB3 bulbs so which are yours, HID of Halogen?

Both the xenon HID and the halogen versions of these headlights have shutters and to confuse matters even more some folk refer to halogen hb3 bulbs as being "xenon". If they are true xenon HID headlights they will have ballast units fitted to the outside of the casing on the underneath of the headlight unit. Do these have ballasts like this fitted?

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Galway Green

Hi Colin,

Are these still available? Could you give me an idea of just how 'plug and play' these will be for my 2009 model? I realise I'd need to get the CCF updated from halogen to xenon but from an installation point of view, is it as simple as taking the old lights out and plugging these in or is there actual wiring I'd need to do?

Thanks,
Simon
