United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Barolo Black

Great tip. Just done this on my 2008 model and worked a treat with the added benefit of it now locks all my doors. For the last couple of years I had lost the auto locking of the rear doors and had to manually lock from inside. Now fixed.

Thought I might re-use this old thread.
Two days ago when unlocking using the fob I hear two bleeps. Never happened before. And has done the same since then.
Any suggestions welcome as I can't seem to find anything in the manual.
Have also tried the secondary (spare) fob and same happens with this too.
Thanks

Hi Paul.
I have had this happen too over the last week, tried looking it up, some say it maybe down to temperature being cold outside, and the snow flake showing on the dash, others say or i think it may be a signal that the car battery is getting low ?

Anyone got opinions on this please, bleeps twice only on pressing the open button on both fobs, not on opening the door.
