One click unlocking

After software update I have reset my key fob because I want all the doors, filler flap and boot to unlock on one press. It is in the book (but tbh how many of us read the book)...

Lock car on fob then hold lock and unlock buttons for 3 seconds. Indicators will flash and you now have one press total access. Repeat procedure to revert to drivers door unlock alone. _________________

Thanks so much for posting this!

The dealer said the FL2 had to be plugged in to reprogram the locking mode. I was waiting until the next service. Cost me 」25 to get it switched on my old FL1.

Glad it was of use Thumbs Up
In case you aren't aware, holding the unlock will also open all windows, and holding the lock will close them again. Useful when returning to a hot car before everyone gets in. _________________

My missus prefers 'driver door only' being unlocked, whereas I prefer all unlocked with one click.
I think her approach is safer, from a personal safety / car theft perspective, but it's a pain in the ass if you carry people & things. ...

This is a per-fob thing, I believe, so if you each have your own keys you can both have it the way you want it!

Just tried it with both fobs and it is a per-vehicle thing. However it is set, it is the same with both fobs. Found out that my n/s/r door isn't locking though. Sad Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

What the manual says is:

Quote:
Single/Multi-point entry
When you press the unlock button your vehicle
will unlock in one of two ways:

1. Unlock the driver's door and fuel filler flap.
A second press is required to unlock the
remaining doors.

2. Unlock all doors, fuel filler flap, and the
tailgate.

This security feature unlocks only the driver痴
door and tailgate. It can be disabled on
individual remote controls by unlocking the
vehicle then simultaneously pressing and
holding the lock and unlock buttons for three
seconds

I haven't tried it, but it sounded from "It can be disabled on
individual remote controls..." as though it should be a per-fob feature. Oh well.

Is it possible to have a "full closure" feature, ie lock all doors, close windows and sunroof with one click?
My wifes Volvo C30 does this and its really useful...

Not possible, one 3 second push will single lock doors and close windows but have to click again for double lock. The sunroof is completely independent and has to be closed beforehand.

Not much help I know, you don't have to have the engine running, but you must have the ignition on.
So it's a case of going back in to do it Sad

Yes there is. Don't open the Drivers door, and press the close button within 30 Seconds of turning engine off. Simples!! Thumbs Up Foraging near Gaydon....

Hello

Is there a specific time interval for pressing the key fob twice to double lock the vehicle ? When I double lock it, the power fold mirrors hesitate a bit mid fold and it beeps and indicators flash once more after I've pressed it the first time.

Just wondering
