Haldexe compatibility

Hi
My haldex unit is probably dead(pump getting low voltage and housing obviously get hit on some rock)
My unit has number 542-5WP33501-04 my question is if 542-5WP33501-06 or 05 is compatible?
Thanks

3.gen

Both part numbers are for 3.gen haldex
Unit will fit I'm just not sure if software isn't different.

If it’s the same gen, then just swap the haldex ecu.

I agree with the above, use original Haldex ECU on the replacement Haldex.

maybe clean out the plates if it's a second hand one, if refurbished then it should all have been done.

Remove clean and replace in the same order they came out.

Hi Arctic, I'd be interested to know how you removed the plates and is I the same on my haldex 4?

Plate removal

Haldex 4 doesn’t have circlip .

FROM MEMORY
Plates held in by 3 of the splines being staked on the ends, carefully re align to remove plates , then re- stake them after re-fitting.

(Staked= bending over the tips of the splines with a small drift or chisel)[/b]
