New throttle body now fitted, all codes cleared. Still just turns over but will not fire! Reprimed fuel filter/feed etc as well!

Not showing any fault codes?

Injection pump?

When was the timing belt changed?

A replacement TB needs calibration with suitable equipment, however the engine should still start as it needs to be running for a calibration to take place.

When you checked the cam for breakage, did you check the tiny drive coupling which can break?

Did you replace the crank sensor, if so did you fit the correct one (there is an early and late), and was it a reputable brand? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

As Nodge says the HP pump is driven by one of the camshafts via a small coupling which can break.
If you've got Torgue Pro or similar which can give live common rail pressures, then if the pressure is very low during cranking then its pointing to a HP pump problem/coupling IMO.

The normal fuel pressures are in the JLR manual

However I'd have thought you'd get a low fuel pressure code; thats if there is one under these circumstances. Jules

You should be able to pull up live data for the fuel rail while cranking it over. Live data is often more useful than codes in situations like this. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

That’s an interesting question! I have just checked and no the rev counter is dead when the engine is cranking over! Should I check the crank sensor wiring? Any advice on this? Cheers Voyager man

If the rev counter doesn't climb off its stop, it suggests there's no engine speed data available for the ECM to pass on to the Ipack. The plugs and wiring can give trouble, I had to replace my crank sensor plug as it wasn't making secure connection with the sensors. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
