No you don't need to drain the PTU . On mine there was no spillage of the PTU fluid. I used two thin chisels to release the halfshalf from the PTU. Gentle tapping does it |

Many thanks , no leakage at all with shaft removed successfully , unfortunately the couriers didn't deliver the replacement so I can't say that the whole job has been completed but I'm sure it soon will be , when the courier deigns to arrive ! |
