Further to my 15th May, 'no problems' post, I now, suddenly, have a 10.700 mile howl, which is loud at times, which my dealer tells me is a failing power steering pump. The car howls, without needing to turn the steering wheel and is not actually louder, even if the wheel is turned. Booked in for a new pump plus reservoir. |

18 months, 48.000 kms later, I can report that this car runs flawlesly. Absolutely no problems since I changed the wiper-motor when the car was two weeks old.

No, as I said the last time: I did not replace my battery. They checked it, and upgraded the software, as they found nothing wrong. -And left the battery where it was. So my memory is perfect, but your memory 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack. |
