Did you double lock it (double press on the lock button of the fob)? Were you on the phone using Bluetooth when you locked the car? Single locking doesn’t necessarily shut everything down and the Bluetooth can stay up draining the battery.

Ok, so a charge last night has resolved the issue. I think a new battery is on the cards!

Check if it’s got the extra earth strap. |

Failing batteries often have enough stored energy to activate many circuits seen on the dash but then cannot meet the demand for a huge current required by the starter motor. My battery is over 4 years old - see how much the voltage drops during engine starting Jules |
