I would start by removing the auxiliary belt and see if the noise goes away. Then its a process of elimination. Just did my alternator pulley that way. Was able to just replace the freewheeling pulley with the alternator still on the car. Good luck |

First thing I would check: Turn off the aircon. Does it still make the noise?
