Latest. Been for a 25 mile drive. No Mway, just country roads. Some goo straights and plenty of bends and turns. Stopped three times , restarted and no replication of yesterday.
Used full auto and command shift. Max of 61mph , plenty at 30/50 and even down to 15/18 on some local bendy bits. Tried Autel Ap 200 again, cleared faults and nothing odd showing up.

Update.
Back out today and ran fine at start. Did act up once fir a few minutes but came back ok.
Happened second time and managed to pull in and stop. Stopped with engine running the pedal went to the floor with no reaction at all. Engine ticking over fine. Waited 5 minutes and restarted with everything ok. Now what could it be? Something wrong with throttle?

Problem solved.
Found the problem hopefully.. Further investigation on live readings was showing the MAF sensor was showing erratic readings. So, fitted new MAF from Eurocarparts for speed. Cost £60. Car running great.That was yesterday.. Did about 20 miles. Today I took a trip out through Dumbarton, Helensburgh and over to Loch Lomond and home. Approximately 60 miles with 4 stops at different places. Never missed a beat. In fact I have convinced myself the car is running better than ever.
Fingers crossed. Big relief. Big smile. Love driving the Freelander2. Jim A

Have now covered about 400 miles since fitting the new MAF sensor. Only about 40 on motorways. The rest on country roads including a 120 mile round trip to Drumlanrig Castle.
To me it feels as if the car is running better than ever.
Following one of the earlier posts about turbo vanes I added full bottle of Wynns turbo cleaner to the fuel.
My overall fuel consumption so far is reading about 32.
So far very pleased. Fingers crossed.
