I replaced my rusty original brackets with stainless. It took a bit of bending to fit in the original position, but at least it'll not rust now.

There seems to be a variety of brackets available on fleaBay - maybe worth a look?

Buy a standard twin socket mounting plate and adapt it by making a 90° bend where it would normally be bolted behind the towball. There will presumably be a suitable bolt on the detachable towbar onto which you can mount it, where is your original attached? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Ive just checked what I did - used a bought one and made a bracket to hold it to the tow bracket. Clearly my memory is failing me. Quite a few on ebay - may need a little fettling to fit. eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283445560561?mk...34b9bbb328 Jules |
