Tow electrics bracket

Evening folks.

So Phoebe's tow electrics bracket it just toast, how it is still where it should be I have no idea.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from? It is a dual electrics bracket

I replaced my rusty original brackets with stainless. It took a bit of bending to fit in the original position, but at least it'll not rust now.

There seems to be a variety of brackets available on fleaBay - maybe worth a look?

This, for example - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222218078260?mk...media=COPY

Well I have found the original bracket part number: LR004084 at £47-58 + vat and P&P... Shocked Shocked

Plan B is required I think...

Unfortunately I cannot use the sort of bracket that bolts between the tow ball and tow hitch mount as the ol' girl has one of them easy detachable new fan dangled tow hitches Rolling Eyes So the electrics bracket has to extend back to the mounting bolts behind the bumper.

This is the bracket that is fitted...

Buy a standard twin socket mounting plate and adapt it by making a 90° bend where it would normally be bolted behind the towball. There will presumably be a suitable bolt on the detachable towbar onto which you can mount it, where is your original attached? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Ive just checked what I did - used a bought one and made a bracket to hold it to the tow bracket. Clearly my memory is failing me.

Quite a few on ebay - may need a little fettling to fit.

Well I did throw an email over to YRM just in case but knowing what the answer would be. Yup as you both have said...

Plan-B... Adapt a universal bracket. Rolling Eyes
