3.2 P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor A Circuit High

FREEL2,

This is for the 3.2 Petrol Powered Faithful.

Its been 15 years and 136,735 miles and my sensor finally gave up.

Some of you may know that I like my 3.2 so much that a bought a used S80 3.2 for my Son to drive but he purchased a new vehicle and my Niece is driving the car now.

I bought a sensor for my 2008 LR2 but the 2010 S80 needed it first. (the replacement procedure is the same for both vehicles, the link has more pictures)

I did buy another sensor and my LR2 is happy now

Take care

Paul

PS I expected the sensor to fail about 2 years ago (which is why I had one on the shelf). So after 15 years I can't complain, the sensor only cost about $40 and it took me 40 minutes to replace it.

Great when you know what the issue is and can fix it yourself. I'd hate to be paying garages for the work that I do to our family fleet. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Bob,

Well said.

I couldn't agree more.

We live in a disposable world unfortunately and very few people know how to troubleshoot and repair things.

That is why I come to FREEL2 to learn and when I can share what I have learned.

Take care

Paul
