Pumping them up to the correct pressure would be my guess.

Don't forget that the tyre pressure listed in the handbook is only relevant for the original factory supplied tyres, and just a guide for different tyres. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

I have TPMS, you would be surprised how much tyre pressure changes summer to winter, sun on one side of the car. Cold morning to hot afternoon. Tyres increase pressure 3psi by simply driving.

Get yourself an electronic pressure gauge. I have 3 of them, plus the TPMS, so in effect 7. Have also been able to benchmark them to a professional calibrated gauge & they are all within 1psi.

Put your crap tyres on the back & if they are bidirectional tread swap sides while at it, they will be a bit quieter, or a lot quieter if all terrain tyres.

If you use the same garage every time for inflating your tyres , buy a half decent tyre pressure gauge and cross check the pressure reading on the air line display . It could well be that the garage unit is over reading and you’re actually under inflating your tyres . Be careful which garage you use. I have my own moisture trap & refrigerated condenser to stop pumping water from the atmosphere into the tyres.

When air is compressed, typically about 7 to 9 times. If the moisture is not removed, it simply goes into the tyres. So you end up with 7 to 9 times the water in the tyres. Every time you pump up the tyres you keep adding water.

Judging by the tread depth which appears even across the the width of the tyre does not look like an inflation issue to me? could be out of balance? or if tyres are old a manufacturing fault or you have been driving over some serious rough surfaces? are all four the same or just front or rears?? 2013 FL2 XS.

Were all 4 tyres changed at the same time when new?

If not, and the damaged fronts were changed as a pair, and are of a different batch to the undamaged rears, then it must be a manufacturing fault. surely it is too even a pattern of surface damage to be caused by running over sharp jagged terrain.

In the past I have suffered tyre damage by continually climbing up a short jagged slope, but the damage was much more random in placement and severity. (bits of the tyre blocks were torn out and missing.
