Update! returned old 60 mth replacement warranted battery today and the replacement cost me NADA after the refund! I was pretty happy with that! Costco AGM H7 60 month warranty NOW prorated but the one I returned was FULL replacement at the time. It only survived 3 years...RIP. |

Amen brother. Questionable parentage. On a bright note it took me less than ten minutes to fit a new fan control module today. Radiator fan now stops when the car is off. Luxury. MY11 SD4 SE Auto |

You’ll enjoy the factory tour . The company I worked for had many divisions and I was lucky enough to spend some time with the automotive supply guys . I went round Gaydon when it was Ford Premier Automotive and covered. Disco/ XJ / Aston . It was great then so the technology in the factory at Solihull now must be amazing ! 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Decided today to move on from Freelander ownership ahead of Khans impending and surely inevitable ULEZ expansion. Can’t see his decision being reversed despite the weight of public opposition (and the absence of any Government intervention) so decided to jump now rather than wait to be pushed in August; figured that by then there’d be a mad rush for compliant cars, value of ours will have dropped . . . .

Decided on the Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI Sportline DSG petrol - with a name that long you understand why there’s no badging. Had looked at the Kodiaq but would never use the seven seat facility and apart from that has no sunroof.

Gave the Haldex a service today. Filters and oil looked OK - much better than the 1st time I did it. Looks like the input oil seal is failing - got a sheen of oil on the front of the unit and a light spray round the tunnel. Also noted the RH rear diff drive shaft seal is weeping, no drips yet but the DS and diff case are covered. |
