Marked window trim

Has anyone else noticed the black rubber window surrounds (mostly the rear ones) getting marked?

Mine are really covered in what looks like drying marks and seem to have appeared after a dealer clean..... Confused

Has anyone else had this or better still, have a solution?
Tried washing and drying loads of times and they just come back.

Ta

Yeah that sort of thing.

Like when you clean your car with something like meguiars and it starts to dry before you can rinse/leather it of.

Like white spots.

Any solutions?

polish on plastic trim comes off with an pencil eraser or peanut butter (smooth not crunchy)

Not sure about rubber though, maybe a bottle of Auto Glym Rubber and Vinyl

See if you can get a picture, and site sponsor JKP Detail might be able to throw a few ideas in Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have that problem on my surrounds and I put it down to the water droplets drying and leaving chemical residue or it could be the bleaching effect from the sun as the water dries, (not up North though!)
I agree that the Autoglym Vinyl stuff works well but it doesn't last forever. Ralph
