SDD Missing VBF Files

I am trying to enable a replacement Parking Aid Module. But I seem to have 2 VBF files missing.
The files are 6H52-14C025-AA.VBF and 6G9T-14C097-AD.VBF and should be in.
C:\Program Files (x86)\JLR\IDS\Flash\Vbf

is there anyone with SDD installed, who would be kind enough to send me a copy of the files?

Thanks very much. An interesting forum article. I will download some stuff. But, I suspect that I will not be able to extract the files without installing the images.

Yes, it’s a great resource that Jaguar thread. I installed SDD on my laptop although I haven’t used it for a couple of years. But I’ll have a look this evening and fire up the Virtual Box and see if I can find the files you’re looking for.

I updated the flas file in Sdd and managed to get the parking assist enabled. I was in a high so flushed with success , tried to enable trailer module. Now it seems it is two different files I need. Pic attached. If you get a chance, have a look for these 2 instead.

Two questions, what version of SDD are you running and what platform device/pc? Are you connected to the internet while you are in SDD?

You can google VB files but make sure to TRUST the source that's supplying them.

That makes sense. The version you are running downloads the necessary files before executing the routines you are requesting. That's why the VBF file are missing/not loaded.

Then I’ll not rush to blow the dust and cobwebs off my laptop tonight but will wait and see what tomorrow brings. I know that the advice I read when using copies of SDD was not to have the laptop connected to the internet. I think the reason was that the cloned versions already had the login and password included in them and that connecting to the internet would require a fresh login which wouldn’t be possible.

Do keep us posted 🤞

SDD perfectly downloads files from the Internet. of course, if it is activated normally and not by a Chinese patch. If someone needs help, I can help make the necessary files.
