So at the bottom of the fuel filter is an electrical socket but no terminals in it the plug that goes into it has three terminals is there any point in plugging this is in if there are no connections??? anyone know what it is and why?? 2013 FL2 XS.

Thats what I thought but why did LandRover plug it in when they serviced it??? or did they never change it from new????? 2013 FL2 XS.

Because they don't know it's not needed. It keeps that part if the harness safe from damage if it's plugged in.
