climate control

Does anyone set their temperature settings then just leave it all on auto?
Mrs G likes to wind the temp down to minimum (or on cold days max) then control the fan manually it does my head in Evil or Very Mad . I prefer leave it on auto all the time and occasionally tweak the temp up or down a notch or so .

I may just tie her hands together to stop her twiddling my knob, second thoughts not a good idea Wink At work

I've used both the auto method and adjusting the fan speed. The auto works really good though and it's nice to just adjust the thermostat to get a desired temperature.

leave it on auto, and adjust the temp only when necessary - otherwise would have saved a few bob and just had air conditioning.

I've offered my girlfriend the bum warmer on many occasions, but she insists the seat warmer is more than adequate... Thumbs Up

Yorkshire skinflintiness didn't stretch to the dual-zone aircon then? Smile

dual zone for the temp but the fan speed is the same for both sides Evil or Very Mad. whats the point in dual zone when she adjusts the fan speeds manually? At work

More to the point - Whats the point og dual zone control Question - I am sure the most of us in Europe do dot need this stupidity - here its either too hot or too cold, so its on max or min all the time Shocked All I need is an on and an off button Laughing 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

I find bum warmer particularily useful for when co-pilot falls asleep!

Personally i find separate temps Left/Right pointless why not use a balance control like on a car radio?

My inlaws crack me up in the winter the aircon is at 22 and in the summer its at 15. I mainly have it set at 22 in summer and 18 in winter due to the fact that i wear more in the winter Rolling Eyes

If it gets too warm in the car, I open the sunroof - summer or winter (if its not frozen) Thumbs Up

non sunroofers do have windows they can open as well, although maybe that is not clearly explained under the Climate Control chapter Rolling Eyes 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
