I use my car for business use and i also work in the construction industry so that might add a few pounds to the price! And shes parked on the driveway at night coz she wont fit in the garage (well where else am i gonna put the lawnmower?) I almost fainted when I got a quote of our companies broker who insures our fleet of vans and even our public and private liabilities etc - they want almost £1,600!!!

I'm very lucky that I don't have to insure a car at present. I sometimes have a winge about the very restrictive choice of cars I get through our car scheme, but when I read threads like this I realise that there are benefits in the scheme even if car choice is limited.
