Changed the fuel pressure sensor on 2.2 diesel and the fault code fuel pressure too high is permanent the fuel pressure is apparently 29000 but live data says differently any ideas ? As it's causing

restricted performance

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Am I missing something here.
Is this related to a question or is this just information. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

The data shown is the readings from live data showing fuel flow isn't 29000 psi like the sensor says but changed the sensor and saying 29000 on the new sensor aswell won't sure how to cure this as it's putting the car in restricted performance

I wonder if the fuel rail pressure sensor should read 5 volts

I agree, it does make it harder when people start multiple streams about one subject, or indeed not thinking of a clear title that indicates what the subject matter is.

Anyway, luckily this one has not an extensive history with the forum and his previous posts are here.

29000 PSI isn't correct, the fuel rail doesn't ever get that high as the pump has a theoretical maximum pressure of 1600 Bar, which is about 23300 PSI.

When you refitted the HP pump, did you connect the fuel volume control solenoid plug on the side of the HP pump? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
