I'm on my second FL2, but before the first one I dabbled with a Subaru Forester and before that I had a Freelander 1 TD4 auto which i had for 5 years... |

This was my original listing - I still have my FL2 Metropolis - and I still enjoy driving it.

Recently sold www.collectingcars.com/for-sale/1986-rover-sd1-vitesse up for sale again quickly. I had a V8s first then a twin plenum, happy memories. Blipping the throttle in multi story carparks used to set off car alarms! |

In the few years before the FL2 we had a Lexus RX300, Mercedes ML350 and a Range Rover….in that order, we always had a second car as well but often smaller or more interesting Regards

Immediately prior to my Freelander, I had a Subaru Forester and before that an Impreza, which I missed badly |

My 2nd car used to be an inherited 1996 Volvo 940 estate, had to let it go as my local mechanics refused to work on it

For those not familiar with the C70, you could carry skis inside the car as there was a hatch from the boot into the cabin, accessible when the rear seat centre arm rest was folded down, and skis could be passed through the hatch from the boot and up the centre of the car to rest on the armrest between the front seats! There was a long plastic bag, for want of a better description, attached to the hatch into which the skis were slid so that the interior of the car was protected from damage.
