There used to be a magazine ( can't remember the name of it now) you could write to for answers but that was in the Victorian era. If you were lucky the question with it's answer would be in the following weeks edition. |

I noticed your damper is the grey newer model but mine was the black one which I had to replace. The black model had much more "resistance" (dampening effect) in my opinion but was no longer available when I went shopping for one. BTW, perfect time to re and re the cabin filter. |

7 fuses? Ooh fancy! My Mini has 2 🤔 Haynes manuals were my go to source of car fixing information. Still use one for the Freelander by youtu.be is brilliant for practical advice. Very disappointed in the Haynes manual for the last versions of the Freelander lot of useless filler and lacking detail when you need it most. Wrapped a bit of foil from a cigarette packet round a fues once of the way down to Devon when the windscreen wipers packed up. |
