I have to agree with 222 regarding the paint hardness. I must have put at least 15 protective coats of wax on over the last 12 months, but there are quite a few chips all over the bonnet and wings and the white undercoat is showing through.

Have a look at www.paints4u.co.uk. They do a full range of chip repair kits and paints.

The EU banned all sorts of chemicals, lead etc which used to go into paint over the last decade or two that provided durability. Ever since then paint has mainly been crap, whatever car you drive. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky TT Quattro, black. Ers. AC Cobra rep in build. Ars. |

Quote! Dougden 37,000 miles on now and I would expect some chips. I am sure that the undercoat is applied before the final colours are decided, but why a white undercoat on a black car?

Your right - I guess they must have stolen it from the Land Rover G4 project especially for me to use for one day only and have now given it back as they must only have silver cars.
