Are you sure it is electrical - looks like a rubber tube to me. Drain tube maybe for the fuel tank or filler? 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

It appears from the 2 suggestive answers that I shouldn’t be too concerned and that it doesn’t sound like anything untoward.

The fuel tank breather pipe is in that area. It should go from the fuel tank, backwards and upwards, to just under the fuel filler cap.

If you look in the wheel arch you'll see the fuel filler pipe and the breather pipe should be clipped in next to it...

There's also another drainage tube that runs from the filler cap area down behind the wheel arch trim Corrado VR6 Mystic Blue - Gone

Looks like the drain tube for the fuel filler area, there’s a small hole where you fill the diesel and it drains down the back of the arch liner. |
