clutch

what would be an average price please to replace dual mass and clutch,im paying my son to do it,labour is what im interested in ,as i will shop around for parts, unless anyone can suggest a supplier, ps im in the trade, (2009 td4)

Roughly £500 retail for parts, clutch kit, slave cylinder & dmf (Advanced Factors). Depending on experience/tools available etc, should be able to do the job in less than eight hours. So it really depends on how much you want to pay your son to do it Smile (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

Just paid £820 for mine, bearing , cover, plate and flywheel fully fitted (LUK kit), car had done around 147k on original clutch. There was still a bit of life in the plate, but the DMF was very sloppy and the bearing had collapsed.
