By the way with the huge increase in electricity has the feed in tariff increased?

My last quarterly payment increased compared to the previous quarter:

◼︎ 16.76p → 18.02p Feed in Tariff per kWh generated
    ◼︎ 5.57p → 5.99p Export Tariff per 50% of kWh generated

Hopefully, a further increase will be applied for the next quarter which ends September 30th.

Hitherto my annual FiT payments have exceeded my annual electricity bill (as you might expect of course given that I also get to use as much of the solar generation as possible for free) and with solar hot water in summer the annual gas bill is also reduced but I have never quantified that benefit.

January 1st to June 30th FiT payments are just shy of £400 with the best quarter yet to come Thumbs Up

Will my shares and dividends in Southern and Scottish increase in value with people moving over to EVs. I could do with a few extra bob to pay my bills

Just spotted this Land Rover, parked in town, close to my car.

It seems we may have an alternative to EV or ICE.

EVs and the greed of energy suppliers coupled with really poor infrastructure and the public perception they will be responsible for global warming unless they buy an EV wont help.

That is unintelligible, sorry. Regards

Those are over priced garbage.
I bought one second hand for £10 a couple of years ago to teach my youngest to ride a full sized bike.
I've since bought her a proper bike (aSpecialized) and took the LR badged piece of rubbish to the local charity shop.
I ride a Cube, which is a million light years more advanced than the LR badged garbage. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Perhaps something like this 2024 Kia EV9 might do the trick for people, like me, who don't want to loose the upright boxy shape.

Although I might be more worried by not having a round steering wheel.

PS Don't worry too much, it is in concept stage, and the inside will look like other Kias. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Shouldn't worry. By 2024 we probably won't be allowed to steer our own cars anyway. Steve

Warp drive will be the default so you won’t need one

Found this database for existing and future EVs.

If you click on pictures of the cars you have even more info and links to further info, it sems quite comprehensive.

Just watched Johnny Smith's review of the new MG4, which although just a normal hatchback, actually looks pretty good, and the price is good too.

The way some people ride bikes around my area it looks like they have taken the seat off & are in training for a colonoscopy!
