that looks cool . i still like the td5 engine that was in my defender used to run that on all sorts , veg oil / used engine oil ( filtered ) still regret getting rid of it 2009 FL2 S now gone

If any ones interested i have a copy of November 2019 LRM magazine with an interesting article about this engine. Major problems reported with this unit in the Discovery Sport models sold in 2016/17. Oil dilution causing cams and balance shaft failures.I can give more info if your interested. Shame really as living in Wolverhampton, where there built it,s god to support local employment. |

one of the many putting my money where my mouth is by buying a Disco Sport. The Ingenium engine when it's running is a peach, like many first iterations it has weaknesses, but the worst thing is that it doesn't actually fit in standard form in the DS - the car it was actually designed for.

Agree, in the article it does say that there were not any problems when fitted in the Jaguar with in line engine situation. |
