We almost bought a F-Pace at launch but on test driving it the engine was like a bag of old nails, upon returning to the dealer on the test drive after just five minutes he said they were all like that and he didn’t have a V6 to test (we had to test drive the 2 litre) so we never went back, but DiL works at JLR and she had a V6R I think was, some sport model anyway.

It may be my last car who knows, regarding advanced drivers I am a retired met police advanced driver myself, regarding the engine (2ltr. Diesel) it doesn’t sound any noisier than my Freelander and a lot quieter when under way. |

Which variant did you buy? Be interested to hear your thoughts on it since if we’re still living here next year and Mayor Khan goes ahead with the ULEZ extension we’re going to have to consider changing ours |

Hi, it is the 2ltr. 2017 Diesel prestige,my neighbour has one in the same colour,it is his second one and has had no trouble in 70k miles but any second hand car is a gamble but I bought the best one I could find.Get the pan roof it makes so much difference to the interior. When I met my wife 51 years ago I was driving a 3.8 mk 2 jag in brg so thought I would treat myself, let’s hope it works out. |

I believe they had some issues with the first production run of the 2litre diesel in the F-Pace, others seems to be much better. Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |
