Just buy a scissor jack off ebay around £20 hasn’t got to be a genuine LR jack. |

Sometimes they turn up on eBay, but never when you need one |

land Rovers are a long way off the floor compared to saloon cars, so the LR jack tends to lift higher - made that mistake.

The Discovery 2 bottle jack was a decent bit of kit and compact too. I'd look out for one of those and an extending wheel brace. Plenty of space in the Freelander wheel well for them. 👍 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

The Land Rover jack will fit next to the spare wheel, so you can install a compressor under the spare wheel.

Or a 2' breaker bar and 21mm socket, potentially more useful. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948 2014 Orkney grey Freelander SD4 GS. 2004 Zambezi silver Discovery 2 Td5 (Gone) 1963 Surf blue Morris Mini Minor Super de Luxe (my little toy) |

I use a T-handle, 21mm socket & extension. One needs to have tools a 1000km from help.

We would have to saw our legs off to sleep in the back of a ute. We push & tilt the seats forward & with a well packed & organised Freelander there is plenty of room.
