never bother with mine, I presume you mean the one under the mileage ? Or the other one which I would reset at every fill up.

I zero mine if I fill it for a long journey, but don't bother if I'm only doing local trips, with £25 top ups each week.

Similarly I zeroed Trip B soon after buying my FL2 and leaving it running, so I have a record of MPG etc since I bought it. I zero Trip A each time when I fill up, so it is recording that tankful. For the curious amongst you my Trip B reads 34.2 mpg at an average of 31mph, after some 44,000 miles. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 79k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |

On my ancient 2007 GS when I zero the trip the mpg is also reset. It takes about 35 miles before I get a believable mpg and I understand that the computer then displays the average for the last 35 miles or so. I just use it as an indicator and use an app to calculate actual mpg, which is currently over 33mpg over 76000 miles travelled. |
