@Tankie
This is a hard one.
Clutching at straws, but is it possible to remove the internal lock lever so you can tug the lock cable or see inside with an endoscope maybe.
I've asked on Landyzone in case someone there has an idea or may have had a similar issue in another JLR vehicle. Jules

Have you seen this thread

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic31721.html

" I pressed the unlock button many times - probably about 20 times in quick succession before the car went into the unlock status with the green arrows both flicking a couple of times on their own.
I do not know the exact number of times or the interval between button pressings but it worked in the end!" (sic) Jules

Lol, The Ruski tanks are not even up to the standard of this old Chieftain, and she would still wipe the floor with them.

I had the same problem, and the cable end had come out of its slot at the inner handle end.

Can't for the life of me remember how I got the door open though - maybe I removed the handle surround somehow? Steve

I've not read the whole thread, but has the fuse for that door been checked? FA3 or FA4, I forget which, but those power the rear door modules in each rear door. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Chatting about door lock actuators with my Indy this morning. Mine is one of those that eats these things. Seems he has the same issue as OP on his RRS. Actuator failed but in deadlock state.

Quote only option is bash the way through the door. Unquote.

These door lock actuators are rubbish considering they're on everything.
