Britpart don't make pads or rotors (discs), so presumably they're from a decent supplier.

Used britpart discs and pads before with no issues. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I got genuine LR pads and discs from Duckworths (forum sponsor so don't forget to ask about discount) for a very very competitive price. For the cost difference to pads & discs (which was small to non existent for quality aftermarket branded items) I'd rather have genuine 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

I suggest that when the pads are out, you get the wheel bearings checked as well. Worn wheel bearings are often a sign of shuddering brakes. The front lower arm rear bush, when it gets old can cause a braking judder, I have just replaced both of our lower front arms, the rear bush was very bad. |

Back in the days when I had an FL1 I had an MOT failure on the front discs (I was not surprised really) I got the garage to fit some new ones. After a few weeks I noticed a bit of brake judder so went back and the garage replaced them under warranty. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

What make did you fit? Both of mine leaked their oil within 3 months. |
