A diagnostic read is required, or you'll just be guessing. There are many independent modules which make up the infotainment system, so knowing what to replace is going to be key. Also many replacement modules need configuration to the vehicle, or they won't work, so again suitable diagnostic equipment will be needed for that too. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

I would sort the clonk out first before something breaks. I would check all ball joints and the rear lower arm bush for wear. I recommend if it is enough to clomk, your tyres will be wearing on the edge. A worn out Bevel Box will clonk, as will a worn CV joint, so it is best to work your way round the car and then you know what to replace. |

I had the same symptoms with my radio/satnav turning on and off. However, in my case it was down to a duff battery. Freelander 2's are known to exhibit some strange electrical gremlins when batteries aren't at their finest. |

New battery fixed my weirdly behaving ICE also - seems to be the no1 step for freelanders with electrical oddities 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic
