depends how good you are with the tools £100 for gates kit and £2 for some Plasters , and 5 to 6 hours 2009 FL2 S now gone

Did mine end of last year. I bought a belt kit including waterpump, the locking pins, set of rear brake pads and an oil filter for £100 from a member on here who had sold his Fl2, which was a bargain.

Wouldn't put non genuine cambelt/water pump on mine especially if you do it yourself and save on labour. |

JLR dont make timing belts or waterpumps etc.

LR belts are made by Gates, but you're welcome to spend 4 X as much for Gates belt in an LR box if you want, but that's a expensive cardboard box. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. I try not to buy anything in a LR marked box for that reason 2009 FL2 S now gone

I wonder how many actually do a lot of miles in their cars I know we don’t, so fitting original stuff would not be that critical as it would be changed on time rather then miles. Also with my luck I would spend a fortune on original parts and it would be nicked or written off and I get a fraction of the money back. |
