are the evos subframes dimensionally the same because i have looked at them and was going to get 1 , but mine is just rust /peeling paint and i think taking it off, then sand blasting and red oxide should do it as there are no rust hole in it or thinned metal .

Curious, are the Evoque rear subframes only interchangeable with certain model year FL2? |

My local "specialist" says early Evoques with the 2.2 diesal are the same. Don't know about metal thickness, but Landrover are notorious for penny pinching. |

My friend has just changed his for an evoque frame. Definitely fits. There were some minor differences in the geometry that were adjusted out on a hunter wheel alignment.

Some pics my friend sent me of the job... he made a jig from his rusty fl2 subframe and used it to check the evoque frame was the same. Last pic is the evoque frame painted and ready for fitment. Has now been fotted and back on the road since january with no issues.

Do the subframes all rust in the same place, like front suspension strut ton old ford escort. |

Being hollow I guess the subframes rust internally too and not just from the outside. To make them last they need spraying inside.

All 4wd Evoque subframes are interchangeable from 2012-2018, according to EPC |
