RADIO DRAINING BATTERY

Hi Guys,
I had to have my radio disconnected due to it staying on and draining the battery.
Do yous think it could be repaired in Repair Shop ?....or will it be irreparable?....thanks for your help guys ...appreciated...

What level of equipment/radio was originally on the car?
There was a service action / technical bulletin for updating the radio software because it kept the audio system on and drain the battery.
