Seems to be multiple reports of poor running issues, resolved by the fitment of genuine filter.

An awful lot of owners have had issues with fuel filters collapsing internally.

On short local trips to the shops (8 mile round hilly trip) we get about 30mpg and 36-40 mpg on motorways Jules |

I think the biggest problem is not changing the filters regularly I have used genuine + non genuine & never had a problem but I replace the fuel filter every 12,000 miles max. |

As Jules said Pureflux fuel filter. That is what was fitted when it left the factory. You can just buy one in a Pureflux box, or you could pay more for a Pureflux filter in a Landrover box. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
